Barefoot wine was first created in 1965 under the name Barefoot Bynum Burgundy. It was given this name due to the method of crushing grapes with your barefoot. In 1986 the brand was re-imagined and took the name that still stands today, Barefoot Cellars. Fast forward to today and Barefoot Cellars has become one of the most recognizable brands on the planet and has received well over 2,000 medals for their wine.
