The Ashby Park Coastal Reserve Pinot Noir is a captivating expression of California’s Central Coast, crafted from a single, dry-farmed, organically managed vineyard planted in 2001. This 100% Pinot Noir is produced by Ashby Park Estates, a boutique winery rooted in Howell Mountain, and guided by acclaimed winemaker Chad Alexander. The wine is aged for 10 months in 100% French oak barrels, resulting in a harmonious balance of fruit purity and subtle oak influence.
On the nose, it offers vibrant aromas of red cherries, wild strawberries, and juicy plum, complemented by delicate notes of cinnamon, clove, and bergamot tea. The palate is medium-bodied and elegant, showcasing layers of ripe red fruit, balanced acidity, and a silky texture that leads to a refined finish.
