Brown Estate's 2023 House of Brown combines Cabernet Sauvignon with Nero d'Avola in a Lodi-grown blend. The wine spends 12 months in seasoned French oak, and the producer identifies it as regeneratively farmed, certified sustainable and vegan-friendly, reflecting the welcoming, access-minded purpose behind the House of Brown label.
In the glass, the 2023 shows a dark garnet center and ruby edge. Floral notes of gardenia, lilac, lavender and violet meet black cherry, cedar, cigar box and vanilla, while blue and black fruits, eucalyptus and brown sugar unfold across a lush palate framed by supple tannins.
