Winemaker's Notes
The 2024 M. Chapoutier Belleruche Blanc brings together Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Viognier, Clairette and Bourboulenc from the Côtes-du-Rhône. Night harvesting and careful protection from oxygen are used to preserve aromatic expression, while stony marl and clay-limestone sites contribute to the wine's regional identity.
Low-temperature fermentation in stainless steel is followed by five months on fine lees. The finished white shows apricot, fennel and iris-like floral notes, pairing rounded texture with freshness before a delicate aniseed note appears on the finish; grilled fish is a natural match.
