Winemaker's Notes
The 2023 Post Scriptum comes from Quinta de Roriz and Quinta da Perdiz in the Cima Corgo section of Portugal's Douro. Created as Chryseia's partner wine, it emphasizes expressive, fresh fruit, measured concentration and an elegant balance, reflecting an even growing season and favorable conditions during the September harvest.
Touriga Nacional leads a blend with Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and additional local varieties. The cellar team hand sorts and selects the berries, ferments them with gentle maceration, and gives the finished wine 12 months in previously used French oak barrels for a polished, earlier-drinking style.
Earlier Vintage Note
The old 2022 product copy referred to blackberry, violet, cedar, dark plum, chocolate-truffle and spice characters, along with firm tannins and a long finish. It remains here as an explicitly archived note for that earlier vintage and should not be read as a 2023 tasting assessment.
