Les Sinards Rouge 2023 is Famille Perrin's approachable Chateauneuf-du-Pape, led by Grenache with Mourvedre and Syrah. The blend combines young vines at Beaucastel with parcels at Clos de Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Le Gres, where varied exposures and stony soils help bring spice, density and finesse to the wine.
For this vintage, the producer records an intense garnet hue, an elegant nose of forest floor, truffle, wild strawberries and violets, and a generous silky palate. Fine tannins frame stewed strawberry and morello-cherry flavors with a subtle smoky note, making it a natural partner for duck, aged cheese or mushrooms.
