Winemaker's Notes
What Critics Are Saying
Dense yet rich, this red offers black cherry, earth and graphite aromas and flavors. Needs a year or two to find balance, yet the lingering, tobacco-inflected finish and refined tannins indicate the potential here. Best from 2019 through 2028.
The 2015 Chianti Classico Berardenga is not on the market yet and will be released towards the end of this year. The wine shows richness of fruit that is characteristic of this balanced and generous vintage. Soft layers of cherry, dark fruit, spice and moist earth peel back in slow succession. Despite its young age, the wine already shows a very promising textural impact that is both soothing and rich.
Among top 7% of all wines in the world. (Vivino)
