Winemaker's Notes
A beautiful barrel sample that shows the quality of the vintage, the 2014 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Leap of Faith is a custom blend by importer Bjoern Lanwer and is comprised of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah that had 20% of the blend aged in oak. Coming from clay and limestone soils, it possesses a semi-opaque purple color to go with vibrant aromas and flavors of black raspberry, mulberry, violets, toasted spice and dusty earth. Medium-bodied on the palate, with a seamless, elegant profile that gains richness and depth in the glass, this beauty has integrated acidity, fine tannin and a terrific finish.
