The 2023 The Plow Pinot Noir reflects Lingua Franca's estate in Oregon's Willamette Valley with a floral, mineral-driven profile. Damascus rose and cardamom introduce flavors of plum, black cherry, lemon peel, black tea, dark stone, and savory herbs, carried by freshness and an extended finish.
Fruit for this cuvee was hand picked from Blocks 1, 2, and 3 and carefully sorted before fermentation. Wild yeasts and spontaneous malolactic fermentation were followed by maturation in a combination of new and neutral French oak, then additional time in stainless steel for integration.
