Description
Winemaker’s Notes
Lyra 2023 is Marine Layer's Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, selected from vineyards in Sebastopol Hills, Green Valley and Petaluma Gap. Native fermentation and eleven months of oak aging shape this coastal blend.
Bright red fruit, floral notes and a touch of spice unfold through a supple palate with refreshing acidity. Pair this expressive Pinot with grilled salmon, roast chicken or savory mushrooms.
Critic Ratings
A bright medium ruby color, the nose of the 2023 Pinot Noir Lyra is lifted and fresh, with focused, bright spice notes of ripe cranberries, cinnamon, fresh roses, and bright herbs. Medium-bodied, this carries seamlessly to the palate, with vibrant, fresh energy, fine tannins, and salty fresh accents. Drink 2025-2035.
