Winemaker's Notes
Beautiful dark garnet color. Striking floral boysenberry jam, caramel and graphite notes are laced with hints of coffee and bay leaf. On the palate, the wine is dense and textural, with velvety richness. Its jammy, ripe berry flavors are layered with notes of dark chocolate and vanilla oak. Persistent tannins create a balanced but powerful wine.
Critic Ratings
Very ripe, lush flavors of dried cherries and late-picked plums mingle with dark chocolate and espresso accents in this full-bodied, firmly tannic wine as it saturates the palate. The wine is robust and concentrated. Decant and drink now, but it will be better from 2026.
