Quinta Nova’s 2024 Unoaked Red shows the vintage’s depth and elegance through integrated tannins and a focused, polished structure. Slow, even ripening helped preserve balance, allowing the Douro fruit to remain expressive without relying on barrel aging.
The blend joins Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão from schist soils in Cima Corgo. Hand-harvested fruit is completely destemmed and matured in stainless-steel and cement vats, maintaining a direct unoaked style at 13.5% alcohol.
