Winemaker's Notes
From Tenuta Polvaro in the Lison Pramaggiore area of Veneto, this Pinot Grigio draws on estate parcels whose fruit is combined to bring together their varied qualities. The winery works with lightly calcareous clay soils and describes the finished wine as both elegant and complex.
The grapes are gently pressed before an eight-day temperature-controlled fermentation intended to protect freshness and fruit expression. Lees aging in stainless steel with regular stirring, together with partial maturation in French oak, shapes a dry, full and persistent style marked by green apple, Williams pear, and fine floral aromas.
