Delicate aroma of violets. Medium bodied, soft tannins, flavors of ripe plums and cherries. Elegant and lingering finish.
Grapes are harvested in mid-September. After the first pressing, the grapes are transferred to stainless steel tanks where they remain on the skins for 10 days. The wine is then aged in Slovenian oak barrels for 4 months.
The wine is ready to be used now. It is ideal everyday wine. Serve the wine at room temperature or slightly chilled with pasta, pizza, or grilled meats.
