Description
Villa Cerna Primocolle Chianti Classico 2023 is rooted in Castellina in Chianti, where the Cecchi family restored the historic estate and built its winery among the surrounding vineyards. The site lies at the gateway to the Chianti Classico DOCG area from Siena and gives this red a clear Tuscan identity.
Made principally from Sangiovese, Primocolle is vinified in steel and matured in barrique and tonneaux before further rest in bottle. The wine's recognizable character brings ripe plum and dried-herb aromas, an easy opening texture, and tannins that carry a persistent finish alongside pasta, meats, vegetables, salumi, or cheese.
